The best way to have a flashing text or label is using the timer control. Using Timer control enables an object to be moved, or even visible true or false.
1. put label on a form
2. put timer on a form.
3. set property Interval (found in Others property window) to your desired milliseconds. 1000 milliseconds is 1 second.
4. put this code in Timer Event or method.
IF THISFORM.Label1.VISIBLE
THISFORM.Label1.VISIBLE = .F.
ELSE
THISFORM.Label1.VISIBLE = .T.
ENDIF
