There is a bug in the DWebBrowserEvents2_FileDownload event in that it doesn't know whether to expect one parameter or two. See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3ben-us%3b325204

Unfortunately the solution is presented in C#, and I get lost after the first few lines. Is there a simpler one for VFP, or an alternative OLE/COM object I can use to test a URL to see if it is valid? I was hoping to use the NavigateError event to help determine if a link was any good or had errors, but this bug makes the event handler unusable.
