Oh, believe me, I have read the Bible. And I come from a Catholic family and share some of the basic ethic principles. But I don't believe in God, although I absolutely respect who does it.

I like some parts of the bible, and dislike others. But then, I like and dislike lots of other books that maybe affected my viewpoint and spirit more than the Bible, and that doesn't make me a believer in the author -for instance.

Well, this is relative. Sadly, I have being so many bad men doing horrible things in the name of religion. I don't really think that religion is needed to improve your humanity. Although it surely can. I just don't think you are "incomplete" without it.

I did, and I don't deny her/his existence to anybody. It's just me that don't have a need to believe or care about God. I just care about people, and that works for me. But I don't try to convince nobody about anything (except VFP, maybe <s>).
