I don't know if this has any thing to do with your problem but about a year ago I was helping a visual basic person at work with date handling in ado not ado.net. You had to use the strick date format {^yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss}. I don't know if {^ / / } will work. Hope this helps.
