WC is a different animal from what Mike's talking about, because the number of instances created is determined by what you defined in your INI file. Your WC app will never do something like CreateObject("myapp.application"), which is where Mike is running into trouble. I had assumed he already checked that the project's Servers page was set to "Single use" because there's no other place to define single-use vs multi-use for an EXE.

It sounds like Mike's undertstanding of COM EXEs is the same as mine, so I don't know what the problem could be. The suggestion of posting the question on the West Wind messageboard is probably the best thing.
