While on the subject, do you (or anyone else) know how to make a BAT run completely silently in NTFS, like XP, with no real DOS?

I tried no Echos, plus an /s, /q and other switches, and some of them work "sort of," but still the DOS screen flash a few seconds (very tacky-looking, I'd rather just have the DOS window open than a funny, confusing flash).

Any ideas? There may be no way, I realize, as XP is really getting away from DOS, but it's still perfect for certain little tasks.

PS: We have WSH entirely disabled for security, so that's mainly why I'm using BATs.
