>By specifying the DBC, you cause the query to run. By not specifying the DBC, you are referencing the cursor. I'll bet it's faster now too.

I don't doubt it at all. Though I still have to try it out on the Celeron 500 where I'd noticed the diff.

Thanks a lot for the help and the explanation for specifying / not specifying the DBC name. Keep you posted.
