I have a combo box that when placed directly on the form works correctly as either a dropdown combobox (allowing data entry via textbox and dropdown list) or a dropdown list (allowing data entry only via the listed options). However, when this exact same class is placed as the default control in the column of a grid, it only works when in Dropdown List mode ... which prevents manual data entry. RowSource is a member array ... RowSourceType is 5, BoundTo is .T. ... grid columns are default values.

Does anyone know why the grid is causing this behaviour change in a combobox?
