At this time it appears the DirectX thought process is that the DirectX install (MSI) Which comes with the SDK should be provided seperately.
Now I need to know how to use the launch conditions property of the installer. Having looked at the docs on this I see someone intimately involved with the product wrote them. As there are assumptions of knowledge. I get some of what they are saying but the cornerstones are elusive. Or in plain sight :p
Anyone have a plain english answer for testing the DirectX version? Using launch condition or other mechanism in order to run the DirectX MSI when needed as part of an install?
