I agree - I really like Java (also like python). But SUN has not been able to sell the idea that it's OS is better than Linux. And now it not even trying to say it's better but works well with Linux. The OS that SUN is sending to china is Linux (actually SUSE with SUN on top). The question one has to ask is why not SUN OS. BTW I think SUN makes very little money from Java products.
