Anytime I work on a project, I first issue a SET PATH command (via a small stub program) that includes all the directories where I have project components (I use a separate directory for images, reports, classes, includes, etc. ... about 20 in all). The SET PATH allows me to specify files anywhere in my project using only the actual file name.
While testing, all files are found with no problem. When building, I have an "externals" PRG that insures everything is included, particularly for file names that are created "on the fly". With the SET PATH in effect, I never have to specify more than the actual file name in the "externals" PRG.
I'm with Thomas; it's something I've been using since FPW.
