Would VB be more geared to what I want but also hang to the database programming side?
I tried exploring VB but I found out that its capability in a pure database design is short compare to VFP. VB is intended for General Programming while VFP is concentrated on Database.

Which would harbor most support?
I think both would harbor equal support now because they are members of Visual Studio.

Which would be quickest to learn (I am self-taught everything)? Any comments?
According to Robert Green, the VFP manager from Microsoft, ranking when it comes to difficulties in learning to use would be:
1. ACCESS - easiest to learn
2. VFP - easier to learn because of its xBase native systax although it is no longer considered as an xBase programming language.
3. VB - easier to learn but longer code when it comes to database manipulation.
4. VC - most difficult to learn

In general, both members of Visual Studio have advantages and disadvantages over the other depending on the specifications of the project. While it is also true that VB is more popular (PR-wise) than VFP.
