I agree with your analysis. I have not read the book but have seen more than one interview with Woodward on this. Even the Saudi Ambassador mostly agrees with Woodward's depiction.

To your comments that the guy that comes out bad is "Slam Dunk" Tenet, I would also add Cheney IMO.
