>My question really has to do with, have I designed my tables properly.
I'm trying to get to that point, but if I don't know all ? It's HARD TO SAY one way or another. Fax me your design document to my listed # here, and perhaps we can go from there.

I can't be omniscient - tis impossible.

>While I do appreciate all your assistance I really need someone who does a lot of table design to ensure my tables are correctly designed.
I do a lot of table design, based on an application design, which was based on a requirements document. For ME ? if the requirements were not gathered properly or are incomplete, the subsequent things [application design document, ERD's, UML space, et.al] will be lacking. But I don't mean to b*tch too much here.

For me ? Table Design absolutely comes about because you got the process(es) completely nailed. If you missed something early on and are now adding it in ? I would suggest a table design change.

>I believe that is where my focus needs to be right now.
OK - I'll refocus on what you have, and try to co-relate it to the processes you've listed so far. Won't be a quick response back this time [i'm a coding today]

>BTW, I lived in Big D for 20 years before moving home to NC after Y2K. Thanks again,

I like Dallas, Mostly.
One thing I like about greenbar is ONCE I AM done with a module ? I can tack it on the wall behind my computer screens in the lab and start coding for it. IF I LEAVE IT UP ? after some time ? I usually can look at a level 2 mod in my wee brain, and quickly find the failure points .. GreenBar Rocks.
