I not to sure SUN is still doing well in big iron sales. Clustering seems to be everyone idea of handling big jobs and now IBM is pushing Linux on the big iron. Remember, SUN made it big time during the ".COM" crazyies. But today web guys are using clustering. Some still say that a bunch of Linux boxes are not HPC (high production/performance computing - can't recall which). It doesn't matter because it's still eating into SUN's domain. I, like you want SUN to make it - mostly because of Java. I doubt I'll ever have need to buy or use big iron since my clients have only 200 employees or so. But I know that govt and large companies do need SUN they just have figure out how to live in a Linux and clustering world.
