I downloaded your utility and it looks very interesting. I have two questions:

1. Do you know if it works ok with Windows 2000, XP, 2000 Server and 2003 Server, etc? My program runs on all kinds of PCs all over the country.

2. This would be going into a commercial application. Do I have your permission to use it?

In a sence, when one application changes the variable, all application receive the change. Once a the variable is changed, a method is called on each of the application to notify that application of the change. No timer is involved. It uses a Push technique to notify the applications. The utility is called "Shared Context Object".
