I have a VFP application that interfaces with Word 2000, using mailmerge, to fill fields in a Word form.

The form itself, including its MERGEFIELD field definitions, were created under the sdame version that it is run with.

The 2 PCs in question - each actually running the mailmerge on the form - are running the EXACT same version (SP 3 with additional fixes) of Word 2000.

A few of the fields are numeric, of the 'format' nnn.nnnn within VFP. On one of the PCs a number prints in the (mergefield) output as 8.5 while in the other it is printing as 8.5000.

I am guessing that some user setting of WORD is involved, but I can't find what it might be.

Anyone with ideas are welcomed to advice.
