Aloha James,

We went to Montreal for DevTeach 2003. I didn't have time to get a passport, but checked this website, http://travel.state.gov/tips_canada.html, and had no trouble at all with my driver's license and authentic birth certificate -- "authentic" meaning it had an official, embossed stamp. I just checked that site again, and the same rules seem to apply for this year. We had such a great time, and the sessions were so impressive, we're doing it again. Hope to see you there!

---J

Check this website, too:http://www.nacua.org/meetings/ac2004/Requirements.html -- it's been updated recently

>Is getting into Canada a big thing? Do I need a passport? What do you need to go through at the boarder? Sorry this is my first time. I'm planning on flying to New York and driving up to Montreal. What kinds of things can go wrong? I'm coming from Hawaii so I don't want to go all that way and not be able to get into Canada.
