Well it's finally happened: I've been told that I have to convert my major financial trading application to .Net as my client can no longer justify VFP to it's corporate backers...

So, having played with VB.Net and got it to do a few things like simple data binding and the like, I can see how things might work.

Can other people who have been through this conversion process already give me some resource pointers that are useful? Books cost an absolute fortune here in New Zealand, so I don't want to go wasting money on unsuitable texts.

One question bothers me straight off: In order to reproduce my VFP application with a menu launching forms, do I use an MDIForm, put the menu on that then have all of the menu option forms as 'child' forms?

TIA,
Simon
