VFP has a general field, but its use has two basic problems: 1) Too much spaceis wasted. 2) It is difficult to get the pictures (or other files) out again.

The usual recommendation, here in the UT, is to keep the image as a separate JPG file (for example), and to have a small field with only the filename.

A second option is to copy the JPG file into a memo binary. Personally, I prefer the first option.

>I need some help, I am using foxpro to create a file that has many differeent types of records in it. In one of these records we need to place a some Binary data as well as a Binary Image. I am really looking for any information on how to do this. Possible using calling a com object to put the image in the file?

Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
