If you will always have all the wealth you require, will not retire or will not get sick read no further.

A ruling by the Employment Opportunity Commission will allow employers to reduce or eliminate health benefits for retirees when they become eligible for Medicare at age 65.

For those who care and know the story about retired persons and Medicare, the fact is that Medicare does not pay for all medical procedures or medications. In fact it is suggested that you have a primary insurance carrier. Medicare laws require that the primary insurance carrier be billed first and if you have eligibility under Medicare laws, Medicare will pay a specified amount. Many retired persons have medical insurance through the retirement plan of an employer.

There are more than a few retired persons on fixed incomes who find it difficult to meet monthly financial needs. An illness or medical problem can be devastating in so many ways. They tell us that people are living longer and this will bring on many problems of a financial nature. In many cases we live solely because of medications that we take and are prescribed by our doctors. If you cannot afford necessary drugs then your life is in the hands of the Lord or whatever you may believe.

I know there are many sides to any story. This story is no different.
