Hi Kevin,

I just noticed this thread. I did a demonstration of a really nice way to do this with SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) and VFP at my talk last week in Seattle. If you send me a note I'll send you the sample.

You'll need:

VFP 8 (my example requires this, but you can get away without it)
Adobe SVG Viewer (free from adobe, a browser plugin )
A map of the US in SVG (mine is of Africa) you can use Visio to Save As.. SVG.
