the problem is basically the amount of data shown. I might suggest the use of splits within the Grids, is way faster and more easy to navigate.

Would you please tell me in which event you are putting the grid1.Refresh, plz give me an snnipet of your code, maybe we can improve the speed of the refresh, remember Forms have the "Autoredraw property" and also this could be the fact of the case above mentioned.
