First, I think it's great to hear that a feature someone has asked for is something you guys already came up with. That's been the general spirit of this product going back to Dr. Dave.

However, might these 'assumptions' be prevented if MS published the full feature list for the upcoming product release?

Yes, the original post (asking for the feature in V10) does demonstrate an assumption - however, seeing partial feature lists for months on MSDN and not seeing a particular feature listed so close to the beta release does demonstrate a frustration that could lead one to question whether it won't be available until a future release.

Publishing a full list might also save you (and others on the VFP team) some time from responding to posts. It seems to me to be a good strategy for all involved. Food for thought...
