1. You can use the Code References tool in VFP 8 to look through your entire project for references.
2. You should be able to get an EXE in VFP 8. In know in VFP 7, it wouldn't build the EXE if you checked the boxes to Recompile all to Display Errors. I thought they went back to the old behavior in VFP 8, but try unchecked those two boxes when you build.
