If all you want to do is run a VFP program, you can just call the EXE from within Excel. I've done that with a hyperlink in Excel, but I don't know how to get a button into Excel.

If you want to programmatically be able to call specific functions in your VFP program, then you have to create a class with those functions as methods, and make that class OLEPUBLIC.
