If I remember right, there is a setting in there for that - it's also possible that the workstation you're installing on has some security features/policys in the account so that you CAN'T install something for other (or all) users.

>I haven't played around with WISE, but it should also have an all users/current user install option. Make sure it is set to all users, or turned off so it defaults to all users.
>
>As far as I know, an installer must support the all/current option in order to be compliant with Windows Installer requirements. WISE should do that also.
>
>>Disregard that! We are using WISE Installer - go figure. Don't know what I was thinking! I've looked at it too many times and just blocked out that it was WISE overtime I guess. I'll have to look for the information elsewhere I guess...

>>>If you are using InstallShield Express, there is a Customer Information dialog under Customize the Setup Appearance/Dialogs.
>>>
>>>This dialog contains an "Install this application for" option group, and you can select "all users" or "only for me" for the current user. In ISX, there is an option to force the dialog to hide this option, and it should install for all users. All users should be the default if you don't hide this option also.
>>>
>>>Let me know if you see something different.
>>>
>>>>Why is it that when you install the vfp8 merge module it only registers for the current user? is there anyway for it to be seen by all users? We typically have to run the setup again under each user's profile for the user to see it...
