>I need to log all changes to records down to field changes. All I need is username (know that already), datetime, feildname, old data. My changes to records are either INSERT INTO or GATHER MEMVAR commands (I do not use any buffering at this point). I was looking at some combination of GETFLDSTATE() and OLDVAL() but I'm sure someone has come up with a better/quicker way. Any suggestions? (This is my first time on this site.)

I wrote an article about this, at http://www.utmag.com/May2003/Page18.asp. OTOH, a ready-built solution, as Dan suggested, makes sense, since it can save you a lot of time.
