Yeah, and I'm not even sure it's the correct terminology, but it's what we've been using. I think of it as "caching" because we're saving the data locally (caching it) so we don't have to hit the back-end server every time. You can also think of the static methods of the DataSet as sort of an in-memory cache as well. Anyway, as I said, I don't really know if I'm using the terminology correctly, but at least now you know what I'm talking about. <g>
