I have a database in VFP 8.0 that gets corrupted consistently when I run the Referential Integrity builder. I get a message after running this that says '.DBC Internal Consistency error'. First, does anybody know why this would happen? And second, how can I recover my database?

When trying to open the database after this, a message states to delete and re-create the database index. Of course, I try this by deleting the 'dcx' file but can't recreate it.

(I have a backup but I would like to know why this is happening so I can prevent it from happening again, and just as important, maybe find out I have a problem in my database that may cause further problems down the line.)
