Looking at the framework again, I'm seeing that some of this code is also in the
calling form's framework methods (e.g. DeActivate()) so I would suggest checking that form's methods as well.
Just before opening your modal form, you might also try adding a breakpoint in your debugger for when _Screen.Lockscreen value changes.
