Installing VFP on each machine means having an expensive license for each user.
Your user does not need VFP installed! The user needs only the executable, and runtime files. These are "royalty-free". That means, you don't need to pay a license for each user, only for each person that has the complete VFP installed - that is, one for every programmer.
The runtime files can be installed on the machine of every user, or they can be in the same shared directory (folder) as the executable.
Supposing you use VFP 6:
To install on the user's machine, use the Setup Wizard.
To copy runtime files on the server, search your c:\windows or c:\winnt directory for VFP*.DLL, and copy those. You don't need the file that contains the letters ODBC, unless you will use ODBC.
