I have not tried this yet, as I would like some feedback before I do so. I want to create a new property on my base grid class called nColumn. In this property, I would like it to contain the value from:

This.Columns[This.ActiveColumn].ColumnOrder

Can I set up this property so that it will always contain the value of this??

Any suggestions on how to do this are greatly appreciated.
