This is a tricky one, how do you insert formatted text into a word document in a mailmerge?
Where the formatted text must be stored in a VFP table that is the data source for the mailmerge?

We have many products, with names like EuMax, EuPaxPro, EuFree which are all simple to insert. They are just mixed case text with on special formatting, and we can use <> to insert form the product field in the mailmerge (temporary, free) table.

Now Marketing have introduced EuphonyNow which requires the last 3 characters to be italic.

My original idea was "use HTML" but Word 2000 doesn't understand that and it prints the tags literally.
Then I thought of post-processing the inserted text and finding the open/close tags and then formatting the letters between them as Italic using automation.
No problem, provided we're only printing one letter and I don't use Word MailMerge.

Mailmerge seems to provide no opportunity for post-processing after the merge, to add formatting in some cases and not in others. I can't see how to insert formatted text, nor how to store formatted text in a VFP table.
