Hi Gang,

From what I've read this namespace allows you to easily access ASDI and LDAP. Unfortunately, while I can do what I need rather easily in VFP, I'm having a problem finding information about (with examples) doing it in C#.

The Problem

Given a user name and password how can I autheticate it?

Using ASDI/LDAP via COM, I can use the NameTranslate object to get an account and OpenDSObject in LDAP to retrieve information about it, thus verifying it.

I've already added the System.DirectoryServices namespace (dll) to the project. Is this the way to go or is there an easier method?
