Oh man! I invested plenty of time in an attempt to get a small program running. The first issue was the fact I was using version 1 of Kylix. The system/ide was very unstable. The next issue was I could not keep the database connection to MySQL or Postgres stable (it would disconnect by it self). However, it did work when I used the Borland database interbase. Next issue was the lack of support (btw I paid for the support) they really did not understand the Linux OS. I gave up......
