I am having a similar problem with a communications routine I'm working on. While the code is processing, keystrokes and mouseclicks are ignored and not saved anywhere as far as I can tell. I am currently looking into using the ON KEY command to run a little routine to store keystrokes in a property on my form. If you only care about the escape button, check out ON ESCAPE or the ON KEY LABEL command. Unfortunately, they don't work with mouseclicks.
