VFP works really well as an Internet language (especially if you know VFP well). Check out http://www.activevfp.com/avfpdemo2/default.aspx for some examples. Learning another language like PERl or Cold Fusion for your application means rewriting it while using VFP for the web means you can re-use a lot more existing vfp code. If I were to choose another language I would go with C# since you can still use .NET interop to get at existing VFP code...
