>Don't kid yourself. I have the same problem. It turns out to be that it is not the monitors getting bigger or the fonts getting smaller. It is related to a medical condition known by the acronym A.G.E. Unfortunately they didn't tell what it stands for. {g}
Three years ago I just gave in and bought reading glasses. I'm actually lucky - being farsighted helps a lot while driving; I can read a street's name few dozen yards before the time I have to pick a lane, so I know well in advance when to pick a left turn. Though, I'm missing the European style white-on-blue signs with an image of the arrows as they are painted on the pavement. Quite often, these are, you know, covered with cars. And age has taken away my ability to see the arrows through the cars.
As for the font size - c'mon, there's still some difference between 80x25 character mode and a 9pt font on a 1280x1024 at 19". Even I can see that difference, no matter how small it is :).
