>I used to know some cubans when I lived in New Orleans and from talking to them I understand that what they want for Cuba is democracy, freedom of speech, and a system of free enterprise. Is this what you call "extreme-right position"? :-)No. I am not talking of democracy or democratic ideals, which I share.
I am talking about extreme-right, get rid of Castro and his ideals by violent means types, like the Alpha-66 movement, like the guy who shot a bazooka to a freigher at the port of Miami in the 70's; the right-wingers that created the circus about Elian Gonzalez, the little boy that needed to go back to his father, even though this group totally disregarded US law and common sense. I could go on, but I think it is clearer now.
