Yes, it is weird indeed, but I don't consider it a bug. And, I consider the behaviour of bof() weirder still - or rather, the inconsistency between bof() and eof(). This might be labelled a bug, but since it has been around since the earliest versions, it doesn't make much sense for the VFP team to "resolve" it.
