I have the same sentiments with you Carl.
Thats the sad thing in VFP world, the attitude of Microsoft when it comes to support. We have almost the same experience, VB was SUCKED in favor of PB because of OOP matters (although PB has just enhanced its OOP features on V6.0 partly on V5.0). MS should realize the truth of whats going on in PROGRAMMING world, not by just PR-wise of marketing strategy on VB. If MS attitude will not change, we would be embracing PB or DELPHI. We almost loose 1.5M PHP project if we do not have PB tool (the company insisted PB over VB).
Another sentiments I have is that the lack of Books re: VFP that is bec. of MS attitude on the product.
