Whenever in Hackfox you find the authors complaining about something, check the help - in many places, you'll see the behavior has changed. IOW, the bugs ARE getting fixed in Fox.
What you won't find along that route is the stuff which is completely new, and therefore completely absent in Hackfox 6.0. They simply couldn't write about something that didn't exist at the time.
Don't think that it happens only to you - I'm having the same problem (and I live in an illusion that I know a lot about Fox). It still manages to surprise me, specially when I try to use some new feature. So... what can I say, combination of Hackfox 6 and VFP8 help can do a lot for you, it just can't tell you what to look for. But then, that's why we're here.
