The strategy of fear and preemptive attack has been around at least - since Hitler! Look at the Gulf of Tompkin - a fabricated event. Result Vietnam - result: Lockeed Martin, Raytheon and GE make billions, even though we lost and killed many - and even though we left, bleeding with our tales between our legs - beaten by a peasant army!

Look at the WMD storey in Iraq - a fabrication for an oil grab or - at the least - more defense contracts for Haliburton.

More History - back during the times of the crusades, Islam had conquered as far west as Spain - note the minettes and Arab archictecture.

During that time, there was a mass conversion of East Europeans from Christianity and Catholisism to Judeaism. Why? Because the Islamists soldiers considered Jews their brothers, and would not harm them. The Europeans you see running Israel are their descendents. Before that, there were Arab Jews in Palestine, and a few Euro-Zionists (Sharones family)

80% of the world beleives that the US and Israel are the biggest threat to world peace. c) They get a self-appointed leader, a terrorist by the name of Arafat. He unsuccessfully tries for over 30 years to fight against Israeli civilians and military with violence. He does not succeed. Due to international pressure he changes his tactics and becomes a "stateman".

One man's terrorist is often another man's hero! Sharone open the gates in lebanon. 3000 dead Palestinians in the refugee camps he was "protecting". Good fooder for a "hero" like Arafat!

ARAFAT WAS ELECTED BY THE PALESTINAINS. More WMD slide of hand if you beleive he was self appointed. UN resolutions have defined Palestine. Israel is building settlements, and walls in UN designated Palestinian Territoty. The right of return is still open in Israles mind. Why else is 90% of the land in Israel held by the Israeli government. Sure, Israel is somewhat communist (that aint a bad thing), but those lands are probably being reserved for the inevidible - the return of the the Palestinians that owned them prior to `48 and `67.

But It sure helped Hilary get elected in NY - didn't it!

What he got from that is the fall of the Barak (moderate) government and a replacement by a reactionary right government (A. Sharon). What happenned then is that Arafat became a non-entity, a totally irrelevant figure.

It was a media sham for mass consumption by sugar engorged americans!:)

Palestinians love Arafat. It don't matter what we think or how we spin it! The guys a hero to oppressed people all over the world. He is standing up to Nuclear Super Powers Isreal and the US!

We must remember, we live in a country where our commercial news services are wholly owned by defense companies (GE - NBC)! We must remember we live in a country where government confidants are selling everything from security services to oil leases and false information on WMDs. Thats a lot of money for people with little or no conscience to turn away from.

Israelis - the work-a-day citizens like you and me, are also paying for this corruption that sponsors an elite but wealthy arms mafia. I rather build spaceships and big libraries than depleted uranium gatling guns. Maybe that time will come before I depart!:)
