I would disagree with them regarding the numbers. However, I wouldn't disagree that the CBU's did - and continue to do - a lot of damage to a people that were basically bystanders in a sad chapter of our history.
But, to twist the words of Tonto, "Who's this 'We', white man?" This has been a known problem for many years. Cluster bombs and residual CBU's have been a problem as long as they've been in use. Perhaps the collective "we" doesn't know much about them, but the collective "we" also has a very short attention span, and would rather hear about Twitney Spears' latest tatoo than be reminded of the mess we made back in Indo-China.
