I know that I am using the same CONFIG.FPW file in both VFP 6 & 8. We originally started this project in VFP 8.0, but since I was asked to go back to 6.0, maybe that caused something weird to happen. Could it perhaps also be caused by the FOXUSER table? I think I'll delete the FOXUSER table now and see what happens.
