There was a news story on TV here last week about how criminals will use your wireless access to hack into your computer and get personal information. And, once done, they'll mark the sidewalk so that others will know. The solution to this problem is make sure you encrypt the signal.

Now, it seems, according to this article, even that may get you into trouble. As usual, the law is way behind the technology.
