I think that D.E. should have more 2 methods, to know: OpenTable () and CloseTable () and each cursor of D.E. should have a property AutoOpen, being indicated him (cursor) it should be open automatically for OpenTables () or to await opening for the new method OpenTable ().

Then I could use:

IF lCondition
DataEnvironment.CloseTable("TableToBeClosed")
DataEnvironment.OpenTable("TableToBeOpen)
ENDIF

What Do You Thing regarding this idea ?
