I get the XP equivalent of illegal operations right and left. Excel, Word, and VFP all crap out, and I get bizarre virtual memory messages that I've never seen before in my life.

Hi Kevin. fwiw I have run Norton / Symantec products on WXP Pro on a laptop for years, all versions, and never had a problem. I say this because I dont think its Norton per se and probably something else or a combination of things is at work here.

Have you left the WXP Pro System Restore settings on? If so you can restore to a previous point in your system before installing NAV 2004.
