I believe "Set Printer To" requires a files name or a printer name.
SET PRINTER ON [PROMPT] | OFF
SET PRINTER FONT cFontName [, cFontSize] [STYLE cFontStyle]
SET PRINTER TO [FileName [ADDITIVE] | PortName]
SET PRINTER TO [DEFAULT | NAME WindowsPrinterName]
SET PRINTER TO NAME \\ServerName\PrinterName
Isn't "LPT1" a connection port for a printer ot the computer?
I use SET PRINTER TO NAME
